At first glance I thought it was a hot looking shoe, but wasn’t sure on how the performance would stack up….. However, I will be a man and admit that I was wrong. The updated Trinity Pro System is fantastic. I have always had problems with rolling my ankles throughout my career but in this shoe I feel a lot more stable than shoes I’ve worn before, this has got to be due to the Trinity Pro System.
Not only do I rate the stability but the cushioning is hot as!! Its not often you wear a basketball shoe that is so comfortable from the first step, (usually you’ve gotta wear them for a few training sessions to break them in) but right from the word go they were sooooo comfortable….I never got sore feet at all.
It terms of weight this shoe barely registers. For a mid cut shoe with so much tech, it’s extremely light. This is very important for all you little guys out there. As guards we need to be a quick as possible, which means heavy shoes are not a good idea!
Couple of things to keep in mind….
- For those guys who like a lower cut shoe, this is probably not for you. It’s quite a high mid cut shoe, however it doesn’t have that chunky feel or weight like a high top.
- It has a higher cut toe so guys with a narrow foot may swim around a little bit…One suggestion would be to wear two pairs of socks though, I do!
All in all it’s a fantastic shoe!
